System events and monitored data are time stamped and stored in a database on the dual servers. The information can be retrieved and analysed when required. Examples of such information are: • Met data such as temperature, pressure and wind velocity etc • Notice board messages • Nav status information changes • Runway lighting control activations • System error events The logging module runs on the dualised servers. The monitoring and control modules send messages to the logging module when there is a user-activation, status change or new data received. Recent data (30 days) is stored on the dualised server disks. The data can be copied to CD-ROM or any other standard media for long term storage.
